摘 要：运用文献资料法、问卷调查法、数理统计法等方法对澄江县城市老年人体育健身的现状进行调查分析，结果显示澄江县城区老年人健身活动与全国其它地区还存在很大的差距。主要体现在项目比较单一，没有走向多元化；有关体育部门对老年体育的宣传力度不够，同时，澄江县城区体育场地实施和器材严重缺乏，公园、体育馆数量较少，而且面积较小，学校体育场地有限性；缺少相应专业人士的指导，很难满足广大老年朋友健身活动的需求等等，所以影响澄江县老年体育活动开展。提出相应的措施，建立健全的老年人体育健身组织机构，加大对体育设施和器材的投资，加大体育健身意识的宣传力度，提高老年人以及全民参加体育活动动的积极性，使老年体育走向多元化、科学化。
