Abstract:China's banking industry is the main force of the financial sector for foreign investment, and transnational operation to Chinese commercial banks will expand the scale to achieve profitable growth in one way. Nowadays, the transnational operation of Chinese commercial banks is facing the new situation at home and abroad. Especially, the financial crisis, it not only brought a threat to the transnational operations of Chinese commercial banks, but also providing them more opportunities and challenges. Reasonable response to the transnational operations of the new situation will allow the Chinese commercial banks to have a solid step forward. In this paper, transnational business risks of Chinese commercial banks were analyzed and evaluated with reference to the typical business risk case of large banks at home and abroad, and according to four main areas: the exchange rate risk, the financial risk, the country risk, and the integration, it put forward some corresponding preventive measures, such like establishing a sound internal risk control mechanisms, strengthening the quantitative analysis of country risk, improving the ability of banks internal control, for timely and effective use of financial instruments to avoid the expected financial risks.
