摘要：《孔雀东南飞》是“古今第一首长诗”，对于刘兰芝离开焦家的理由，历来众说纷纭，但大多是以她被迫离开的原因作为着眼点叙述的，作者用满含同情的笔触，写她忠于爱情、不慕富贵、誓死反抗的精神。但若反其观之，兰芝为何不可主动离开？兰芝是应当离开焦家的。本文从刘兰芝自身的优势、焦仲卿所存的弱势、焦母潜在的心理以及内外因素的使然等四个方面加以讨论。
