功能对等理论下的中国特色时政词汇的英译研究_英语论文.doc

中文摘要：随着中国社会经济的不断发展和对外交流的不断深入，政府通过各种文献和言辞来阐明各种政策和路线，反映国家的政治、经济、军事和文化面貌，从而树立国家形象。时政词汇翻译准确得当与否，直接影响到其他国家对我国传统文化，时事政策以及经济发展的理解程度。为了让其他国家更好的了解我国的经济社会发展趋势和状况，中国特色时政词汇适当准确的翻译工作刻不容缓。另外，除了英汉两种不同的语言结构特色，中国特色的时政词汇其具有浓厚的文化底蕴的特点，而且时政词汇的英译不能求其文字表面上的死板对应，应尽量在两种语言上实现功能对等。因此，奈达的功能对等理论可作为重要的翻译理论指导。本文结合中国特色时政词汇的特点，以功能对等理论为框架，着重分析和讨论中国特色时政词汇的翻译策略。
