Abstract:English reading is one of the basic skills that English learners need to master. It occupies a very important position in college English teaching, but now Chinese college students have different degrees of obstacles in English reading, and these obstacles also affect the degree of They have improved their English learning. The students of Non-state colleges and universities are more obvious in English reading obstacles. The learning ability and awareness of Non-state colleges and universities are relatively poor, the foundation is weak, and the teachers of private universities are also relatively backward, so understanding the students' reading difficulties improves their English level. It is of great significance.

Based on the analysis of the existing research, the author conducted surveys and interviews with 200 non-English major college students at Shaanxi Institute of  International Trade and Commerce. Through statistical analysis of questionnaires and interviews, the results are as follows: Students believe that the biggest obstacle in English reading is grammar knowledge and vocabulary; the second major obstacle is background knowledge; the third major obstacle is the degree of difficulty of the article and article type. The four major obstacles are learning psychology. The fifth major obstacle is learning interest. The smallest obstacle is learning motivation.

Finally, summarize the paper and put forward corresponding opinions.

摘要:英语阅读是英语学习者需要掌握的基本技能之一,在大学英语教学中占据十分重要的位置,但是现在中国的大学生在英语阅读中存在着不同程度的障碍,这些障碍也在不同程度上影响着他们英语学习水平的提高。而民办高校的学生在英语阅读障碍方面更加明显,民办高校的学生学习能力和自觉性比较差,基础薄弱,并且民办高校的师资力量也相对落后,所以了解学生的阅读障碍对于他们英语水平的提高有重大意义。

笔者在分析已有的研究基础上,以调查问卷和访谈的方式,对陕西国际商贸学院200名非英语专业大学生进行了影响英语阅读障碍的调查研究。通过对调查问卷以及访谈进行统计分析,研究结果如下:学生认为英语阅读最大的障碍是语法知识和词汇量,第二大障碍是背景知识,第三大障碍是文章难易程度和文章类型,第四大障碍是学习心理,第五大障碍是学习兴趣,障碍最小的是学习动机。

最后对论文进行总结,并提出相应的意见。
