中文摘要：现如今，随着国际交流的不断发展，英语作为一种国际语言已被广泛应用于世界各地。人们也比以前更加注重英语的学习。在过去，教师是课堂的主体,他们控制着课堂活动的进行。课堂活动也始终是教师讲课,学生听讲的模式。所以学生并没有在真正意义上参与到课堂活动中。自从2004年以来，全国开始进行英语教学改革之后，传统的教学模式已经不能满足现代社会的需求。现在的教育迫使人们去推行以学生为中心的新的教学模式，让学生拥有更多的话语权，让学生能够完全的沉浸在课堂活动中。由此可见，作为课堂教学的核心部分，师生角色对课堂教学的一些方面产生着深刻的影响。本文将集中抓住这一点，详细探究教师和学生的角色转变。本文也将针对英语课堂教学中存在的问题进行分析,提出自己的拙见。
