Abstract:This paper analyzes the dialogue and language of Two Broke Girls on the basis of Tact Maxim, Approbation Maxim, Agreement Maxim and American humor. It analyzes that both parties or one party in conversation can produce American humor if they violated those of conversational principles or failed to understand their speech act. In brief, it can help civilians to better conduct cross-international exchanges and promote international cooperation.
