Abstract
Maxine Hong Kingston, in The Woman Warrior, depicts Chinese American women’s confusion of identity and history caused by the cultural conflict and their search for subjectivity and cultural integration from a multicultural perspective. In this paper, the conflicts and fusion between Chinese and Western cultures are examined from the conflicts between the older generation and the younger generation. The research of this paper provides a reference for communication between the two cultures and inspires people to solve other culture conflicts.
