In The Sense of an ending , the author uses the fixed focus to show the theme and character. The book demonstrates the inherent flaws of time, history and memory. The author shows the life of a common man by describing the life of Tony. The study helps to give a reflection of vanity of time and memory. Time, history and memory will eventually go to vanity.
