从奥运会来看体育英语的特点及翻译_英语论文.docx

摘要:当今的中国社会，体育已经融入我们的生活，成为生活中不可少的重要部分。特别是在2008年我国成功举办奥运会以来，国人关注体育的热情更是越来越高。人们不仅积极参与体育运动，增强体质，而且热心关注各种体育赛事。随着经济全球化以及信息技术的不断发展，各种信息在全球范围内传播速度加快，各国语言在这其中交织。人们主要通过各种新闻媒体了解国内外体育赛事新闻媒体在转播、报道国外体育赛事的过程中就不可避免地要对所涉及的体育英语进行翻译，翻译是否恰当会影响人们对体育赛事的了解。体育英语结合了基础英语和体育专业用语，各国撰写新闻稿件时所使用的语言表达又结合了当地文化，因此体育英语有其区别于一般英语的特点，在翻译时也应注意其独特之处。在此要求下，我们要分析体育英语的特点，不断地探讨体育英语的翻译策略。

Abstract:Nowadays, sports have been integrated into our life and become an important part of life. In China, people are more and more enthusiastic towards sports since 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. They not only actively participate in sports to enhance physical fitness but also concern about sports events worldwide. With the development of globalization and information technology, various reports written by different languages from all over the world spread rapidly, which makes the sports events transmitted quickly around the world. In the process of broadcasting and reporting foreign sports events, the news should be translated inevitably. Therefore, the appropriation of translation affects people`s understanding on sports events. Athletic English is combined with common English and sports professional language under the influence of local culture. Due to its unique characteristics, athletic English should be translated properly. This paper analyzes the characteristics of athletic English and correspondingly explores the translation strategies of athletic English.
