中英数字的翻译方法_英语论文.docx

摘要:数字是语言的一个重要组成部分，在历史的沉淀中，数字不仅作为一种计数工具而存在，同时也被各族人民赋予了丰富的文化内涵，成为了反映民族文化的重要载体之一，广泛应用于习语之中，使语言更加简洁凝练、生动有趣。英语和汉语中的数字虽然有着相似的规律， 但因为风俗习惯、生活方式、地理环境、宗教信仰等因素的影响，相同的数字在不同文化背景下被赋予的内涵意义有着较大的差异。而数字习语在日常交流和生活中应用广泛，因此必须充分了解差异，掌握基本的可行的英汉数字习语的翻译方法。本文在以语义学为基础上，以异化和归化的基本翻译理论为理论支撑，以习语数字为研究对象，从文化心理、神话传说和宗教色彩三方面分析了文化差异对数字内容意义的影响。从而得出结论：英汉数字翻译应因境而需，依境而译，采用注译法、意译法、匹配法等不同翻译手段对数字习语在两种语言间的转换进行灵活处理，旨在使译文达到目的语读者的心理预期。
