中文摘要：随着世界范围跨文化交流的发展，电影，作为一门跨媒体跨文化的艺术，是加速多元文化互动和交流的工具，在各国文化交流中扮演着举足轻重的角色。电影是传播最快最广、具有国际性的艺术形式。外语影片有利于我们了解西方文化，学习电影艺术的美学价值，掌握英语语言风格。近年，随着中国进一步改革开放和内地与香港、台湾间交流的增多，越来越多的英语电影流入中国市场。这些英语电影想要成功打进华语市场，电影的中文译名成为其中一项首要考虑。片名是影片的识别标志，好的片名翻译能鲜明地揭示影片主题，简练地概括影片内容，并能引起观众的丰富联想与观看欲望。英语片名大多来源于电影中的角色、背景、情节，线索或主题等。然而，一直以来，海峡两岸三地译者对电影片名的翻译存在较大差异。本文通过在互联网上搜集、整理中国内地、香港、台湾地区各类型电影译名，分析三地翻译电影名时的方法策略，并分析其各自的弊端。最后试图从社会体制、文化背景和语言习惯分析产生差异的原因，以期加强彼此间的交流。
