中文摘要：江苏省自2012年起在全省小学三年级推行使用新版英语教材。至今年3月春季学期为止，所有年级的新教材都已投入使用。新教材中的Project模块成为有别于旧版教材的最大不同之处。Project模块是一个综合语言项目。近几年对于该模块有效教学方法的研究也越来越多。但是大多数的研究都只关注一个特定的教学方法或者是模块的一方面。仍有许多教师不清楚如何教好这一模块。因此，本论文主要的目的就是探索Project模块有效的教学方法。只有教师充分利用这一模块才能更好地提高学生各方面的能力。文章主要提出并分析了一个综合的教学方法，该教学方法的产生基于对project这个单词按字母拆分的方式进行单独理解。这一综合的教学方法涵盖了设计Project模块时的各个方面。在解释理论概念之后，以五年级上册Project 1 为例进行论证。结果证明这一方法能够有效地帮助教师设计这一模块的教学过程，给予教师灵感和方向。

ABSTRACT: Jiangsu Province has begun using new English textbooks in Grade 3 among primary schools since 2012. Till this year’s spring semester, all grades had used new textbooks. Project Module of new textbooks has become the part which is completely different from the old version. It is a comprehensive language project. Researches on the useful teaching methods of Project Module have emerged in the past three years. However，most studies only focused on one particular method or one section of this module. Many teachers still have no clear mind on how to teach this module well. The main purpose of this thesis is to explore effective teaching methods which can be applied to teach the Project Module. As a result, the purpose of this thesis is to explore effective teaching methods of this module. Only if teachers make full use of the module can students’ abilities be enhanced totally. The analysis is mainly centered on a mixed teaching method based on the new understanding of the word “project” separately. This method includes different aspects of the process of designing the Project Module. These ideas are explained first and then are illustrated by taking 5A Project 1 as an example. The findings suggest that this mixed method can help teachers to organize the teaching process, which gives teachers inspiration and guidance.
