ABSTRACT:With the rapid development of globalization, cross-cultural communications are increasingly frequent. The business banquet plays an increasingly important role in business activities. There is a huge different culture between Chinese and Western in business banquet. And it is necessary to master the Chinese and Western business banquet for this will leave a deep impression on customers and consolidate the business relationship. It is well-known that every country has its own traditions and customs of guests. In the long run, business banquet has now become an important social interaction whether in China or in Western countries. Meanwhile, business banquet is the essential part of interpersonal communication. However, the differences of natural environments, historical origins and philosophy between China and Western countries lead to the cultural differences.
This paper aims to explore different business banquet using cross-cultural communication theory under the different cultural backgrounds between the west and China. By comparing the Chinese and Western cultures, people can better understand international business banquet, and they will have a better performance in cross - cultural communication. Besides, this paper is to provide reliable reference for business people to pave the way for further cooperation.

摘要:随着全球化的不断发展，跨文化交际日益频繁。商务宴会在商务活动中扮演着越来越重要的角色。中西的商务宴会存在巨大差异，掌握中西商务宴会是很有必要的，这样才会给客户留下深的印象，商业关系才会更加巩固。众所周知，世界上每个国家请客人吃饭都有自己的传统和习俗。在人类漫长的历史中，无论在中国还是在西方国家, 商务宴会现在都已成为一种重要的社会交往方式，同时也是人际交往中必不可缺的一部分。然而，由于中国和西方国家在自然环境，历史渊源和哲学理念等方面有所不同，所以他们之间的的文化差异也很大。
本文旨在中西方文化背景下运用跨文化交际理论，探讨不同的中西商务宴会。通过对比不同的中西方文化，人们可以更好的了解国际商务宴会，并在跨文化交际中有更好的表现。这将为商务人士提供可靠的参考，为进一步的合作做好铺垫。
