Abstract: Which roles teachers decide to position themselves at which stages of the lesson is important if teachers take it into account ,then the useful effect can be played on students,whether teachers are standing, seated or crouching in front of, to the side of or behind students sends out a message with regard to what teachers want them to do. Teacher’s choice will depend on the aim of the teaching activity. There are times when teacher will want to be the focus of all of students' attention, others when teacher will want to be addressing groups, pairs or individuals in the class and also times when teacher will want to be entirely unobtrusive. So,teacher will adopt different roles accordingly to play.And the analysis of teachers’ roles in English listening teaching suggests that the application of conductor ,observation and multimedia technique is the inevitable trend of development in the modern foreign language teaching.The paper researches on the traditional roles and new roles with multimedia-aided in the English listening teaching,pointing out that the students' ability in English learning can be improved only by renovating teachers' teaching concepts of multi-role-playing and using multimedia technique.

摘要:教师决定自己哪个角色在哪个阶段的地位是重要的。如果教师考虑到这一点,那么,学生就会获得有益的效果。无论是教师站立,或蜷缩坐在前面,侧面或在学生背后发出了一个教师希望他们做什么的信息。教师的角色选择将取决于教学活动的目标。有些时候老师将要成为重点,有时候要得到所有的学生的注意,或提示一个小组,一对或个人。有时候老师要变得完全不显眼。为此,教师将采取相应不同的角色去扮演。而本文通过对英语听力教学中老师的角色分析,提出“指导者”,观察以及多媒体技术手段的应用是现代外语教学的发展趋势,并对传统角色、多媒体技术辅助英语听力课堂教学的新角色等问题进行了初步探讨,指出英语教师只有更新多角色扮演的观念和借助多媒体技术手段,才能从根本上全面提高学生的英语语言能力,从而改善教学质量。
