Abstract: The Rainbow is one of the best-known works written by D. H. Lawrence, whose formalized symbol is the description of the relationship between men and women. The novel explores the mysteries of life and reflects the changes in that era. The thesis aims to analyze the changes in women’s views on marriage through the marriages of three female generations, trying to find out the reason for changes from complying with instinct to pursuing spiritual and physical harmony, as well as to discuss the important influences on the changes of women’s views on marriage affected by social background in that era.

摘要：《虹》是英国小说家D.H.劳伦斯的代表作之一，男女关系的描写是其作品的形式化符号。小说探讨了人生的奥秘，反映了时代的变化。本文从小说中三代女性人物的婚姻及婚姻观入手，分析了其婚姻观的转变，以及从遵从本能到追求精神和谐的变化的原因，旨在分析社会时代大环境对女性婚姻观变化的重要影响。
