Abstract:King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table is the treasure of Western European literature in Middle Ages, which describes the life of King Arthur and adventurous experience of knights of the Round Table, such as the birth of Arthur, the founding of the knights of the round table, search for the holy grail, and the death of king Arthur. There were many great knights who were loyal to the King Arthur. The famous knights were Sir Lancelot, Sir Gawaine, Sir Tristram, Sir Geraint, Sir Galahad and so on. This work reflects the full portrait of the excellent knights in the actual society and shows chivalry of the knights of the Round Table , such as loyalty to King Arthur, courage to fight with enemy, firm belief, sympathy for the weak, humility and strong sense of honor.
In the Modern Western European society, chivalry can be seen from people’s daily behaviors and manners. Consequently, chivalry had a far reaching impact on politics, economy and social culture of Western Europe. By telling the stories of King Arthur and Knights in King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, this thesis introduces the essence of chivalry and reveals the importance of vigorously carrying forward the national culture.

摘要:《亚瑟王和圆桌骑士》是中世纪西欧文学的精华。它记述了亚瑟王的一生以及他的骑士们的遭遇，例如，亚瑟王的诞生，圆桌骑士的确立，寻找圣杯以及亚瑟王离世。书中介绍的其实有兰斯洛特、高文、特里斯坦、杰兰特、格拉海德等等。它生动描述了实际生活中骑士的典型形象, 反映了西欧中世纪骑士的忠诚、勇敢、坚定信仰、同情弱者,保护妇女、谦逊宽容以及具有强烈的荣誉感。
当今西方社会中，人们的言谈举止、行为道德中蕴含着中世纪骑士精神。因此，骑士精神对西欧的政治、经济以及社会文化产生了深远影响。本文通过对《亚瑟王和圆桌骑士》中亚瑟王和骑士们的传奇故事的介绍来分析骑士精神的精髓，从而揭示大力弘扬民族文化的重要性。
