Abstract: The Pursuit of Happyness, is an American biographical movie based on a celebrated black investment expert Chris Gardner's own experiences. The movie describes a typical inspiring story in which a stockbroker struggles for his family and success. The paper aims to investigate the factors contributing to his success. The modern young people are usually confused and frustrated when they are faced with difficulties. The analysis in depth will surely provide a clear picture of success factors for the lost people especially the young which guide their ways to success and help them realize their dreams. The paper consists of three parts. The first part introduces the movie and the literature review. Then in the second part, the author analyses the factors contributing to success of the protagonist, including setting a goal, having the endogenetic force and taking actions. The last part is the conclusion of the paper and presents the limitations of the paper.

摘要：《当幸福来敲门》是根据美国著名黑人投资专家克里·加纳出版的同名自传改编而成的电影，讲述了一位证券经纪人为了他的家庭和成功而不懈奋斗的励志故事。本文旨在探究主人公的成功因素。当代年轻人在困境中容易彷徨和沮丧，通过本文对这部影片深入地分析，使人们特别是失落的年轻一代脑海中形成一个清晰的成功因素列表，指引他们走向成功、实现梦想。本文由三部分组成，第一部分介绍了电影的内容和一些文献研究，第二部分作者分析了主人公成功的因素：树立目标，内在因素，实际行动。最后本文进行了总结并提出了本研究的局限性。
