Abstract: This paper aims to explain the particularity and importance of English action film title translation, and discuss the four principles of equivalent effect about content information, cultural information, aesthetic information and promotional information which are based on the principle of equivalent effect. It also analyzes and organizes the existing translated English action film titles so as to summarize three major translation methods or skills of translation, named as transliteration, word-for-word translation and free translation. It can not only help general English learners to judge the value of all kinds of English film title translation, but also have a positive significance to title translation of other artistic works such as literature, dramas, operas and so on.

摘要：本文旨在阐述英文动作片名翻译的特殊性和重要性，并从等效翻译原则的角度出发，研究其应用价值，剖析该类片名翻译应遵循的内容信息等效、文化信息等效、审美信息等效和商业价值信息等效四大原则。以及通过对现有汉译片名的梳理分析来归纳总结具体的以音译、直译、意译为主的三大翻译技巧。不仅有助于普通英语学习者学会品评各类英文片名翻译的优劣并自行试译或改译，同时对英文的文学作品、舞台剧等其他艺术作品名称的翻译也具有积极的指导意义。
