Abstract:Objectively, there are differences among different cultures. The ultimate goal of translation is to transmit culture and communication. Therefore, in the translation process, the first difficulty the translator confronts is the differences between two cultures in way of expression and cultural background. As to information of source-language, translators should not only keep the core information but also achieve cultural communication.
Domesticated translation and foreignized translation are two important translation strategies that translators use to process the differences. For many years, in the translation industry, the discussions about the two translation strategies are dualistic. However, along with the development of times, these two strategies become complementary and fusional. Proverbs are cultural-loaded linguistic symbol and its cultural contents are nodi of translation. This dissertation takes proverbs in life as a case study to discuss the relationship between the two strategies and prove their fusion.

摘要:不同文化之间的差异是客观存在的。翻译的目的是为了传递文化与沟通，译者在翻译过程中，首要面对的是两种不同语言的表达习惯和文化背景。对于源语文化信息，译者既要保留其核心又要译文达到文化交流的目的。
归化翻译法与异化翻译法是译者处理文化信息差异的两种重要手段。多年来，翻译界对这两种的讨论的都是二元对立的讨论，但是，随着时代的发展，这两种方法论是呈现互补、相容的趋势。谚语是蕴含着丰富的民族文化内涵的语言符号，其文化底蕴是翻译的难点。本文将以生活谚语为例，论述在翻译过程中，归化翻译法与异化翻译法的关系，揭示其融合。
