中文摘要：随着科技的进步和社会的繁荣，影视成为人们主要的娱乐方式。中国许多影视作品成功打入国际市场，并且受到了极大的推崇。在此过程中，影视作品的字幕翻译的重要性不可小觑，一个成功的影视字幕将会对作品的传播起到举足轻重的作用。1999年，维索尔伦的顺应论问世，并不断的运用于字幕翻译实践。然而，影视翻译的历史比较短，对其相应的研究也比较少。在此背景下，笔者试图以顺应论为理论基础对纪录片《舌尖上的中国》的字幕进行研究，并力求以此验证顺应论是否可以指导影视字幕翻译。本文共有三大主体部分，首先对字幕给予一定的介绍，包括其分类，局限性等；接着讨论顺应论的理论框架，最后利用纪录片《舌尖上的中国》的字幕为例验证字幕翻译的顺应性。本文希望通过《舌尖上的中国》英文版的翻译分析为中国饮食文化翻译做一定的补充，让世界更加了解中国餐饮文化。
