中文摘要：随着全球化进程不断加快，我国大量的影视作品被推送进了国际市场。《舌尖上的中国》是一部著名的美食纪录片，生动地展示了我国饮食文化和人文风情，一经播出就在国内外迅速走红。纪录片的字幕英译在此刻就显得尤为重要，因为好的字幕翻译能够让读者更好的理解该作品所包含的内容。本文以生态翻译学理论为视角，对《舌尖上的中国》英译字幕进行了研究，结合具体实例，论证该理论对纪录片字幕翻译具有指导作用。本文首先介绍了生态翻译环境，其核心概念及行之有效的翻译方法，然后从该理论的三个维度出发，结合该纪录片字幕英译的具体例证，分析三个维度的适应性选择原则对字幕英译所产生的作用。研究表明生态翻译学理论三个维度的适应性和选择性转换能够有效地诠释字幕中的中国文化内涵，以帮助不同文化背景的外国受众更深刻地了解中国文化。
